Ural-Press is 20 years old

07.09.2012
Ural-Press agency of subscription and delivery of periodicals is celebrating its 20th birthday on September 7.
Having come into the market in 1992, Ural-Press has grown over the next 20 years from a small subscription agency in Ekaterinburg into a federal-scale company having subdivisions in 104 cities, including branches in Berlin and Petropavlovsk in Kazakhstan.
Since 2009, Ural-Press has diversified its business by launching the business line aimed at provision of schools with educational and methodological materials and books; the new business line is developing today under its own brand - Bookvarius. This year, the Bookvarius sales have reached the level of the Ural-Press subscription business.
In 2010, the Ural-Press Group of Companies has launched another new business line – delivery of distance selling commodities; the business line is operating under the Boxberry brand.
The high performance of the company is evidenced by the fact that Ural-Press GC ranks among 500 Russian “gazelles”* - the high-growth medium-sized businesses (holding the 25th line in the federal list) and among 400 largest companies in the Urals and Western Siberia – TOP-400**.
* The survey of “gazelles”, which is conducted by Expert magazine, includes companies with the minimum annual growth rate equal to 30 % during four years.
** The TOP-400 ranking is completed annually by Expert and Expert-Ural magazines rating the companies by the product (service) sales.
